On January 1, 2020, Michael and I will begin a new chapter...that's the day Elán comes to life.
It's been an interesting journey arriving at this point...professional positions both in the States and abroad, culminating in the creation of Direct Travel Luxe, which has become one of the leading luxury travel agencies in the United States. Along the way, I've visited 92 countries, served on numerous industry boards, and built a reputation that I hope will serve us well as we bring this new venture to life.
First, my greatest loyalty in this process is to our clients, those who trust us with their dreams. We will continue to work in concert with Direct Travel's Luxe team, and clients' travel arrangements will be cleared through DT, ensuring that, from the viewpoint of the client, there will be no changes to the level of service you've come to expect. What will change is that I will generally not be in our Naperville office. Rather, your inquiries will be directed to me, either at one of my homes in the Chicago area or Wisconsin.
